Man severely injured in northeast Memphis shooting

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A shooting in northeast Memphis left a man severely injured Thursday morning, Memphis Police say.

According to reports, officers responded to the shooting in the 2100 block of Deer Ridge Drive just before noon. A man was located on the scene and transported to Regional One Hospital in critical condition.

Police say there is no suspect information available at this time, but the investigation is ongoing.
