Man sentenced 11 years for selling crystal methamphetamine

EYEWITNESS NEWS (WBRE/WYOU) — A Carbon County man has been sentenced after selling crystal methamphetamine in Schuylkill and Carbon County.

On Thursday, U.S. Attorney Gerard M. Karam announced that 34-year-old Curtis Margle from Leighton was sentenced to 132 months in prison for selling crystal methamphetamine in 2022.

U.S. Attorney Karam said Margle pleaded guilty to having 200 to 350 grams of “high-quality” crystal methamphetamine to sell throughout Schuylkill and Carbon County.

Officials say the investigation stemmed from a purchase of crystal methamphetamine in 2022 leading to the seizure of additional amounts of crystal methamphetamine.

Margle was sentenced to 11 years in prison.
