Man posing as a 13-year-old admits to luring and assaulting underage girls

LOGAN COUNTY, Okla. (KFOR) — A man is facing several charges after allegedly posing as a teenage boy to lure minors to have sex with him.

The Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) received a disturbing phone call from the Yukon Police Department back in August.

“A mother had found out that her young daughter was possibly talking to a 24 year old man. So she was able to ping her daughter’s phone, find out where this man was,” said Aaron Brilbeck with OCSO.

24-year-old Holden Clayton had been posing as a 13-year-old boy on social media apps.

“What we’re urging moms and dads to do is to make sure that you know exactly who your kids are talking to online,” said Brilbeck.

According to court documents, the 13-year-old girl had been reported as a runaway.

Police officers conducted a traffic stop and found the girl in the car with Clayton.

“Mr. Clayton admitted that he was posing as a young boy in order to lure young girls over to his home to have sex with them. He admitted to having sex with a 13-year-old girl,” said Brilbeck.

Investigators originally thought Clayton and the under-age teen had sex in Oklahoma City.

However, documents said after speaking with the teen, investigators realized the alleged act actually happened in Logan County.

UPDATE: One dead, one injured in SW Oklahoma City shooting

“We were contacted by the Oklahoma County Sheriff’s Office. They were continuing an investigation of an alleged rape during that investigation, we also found child pornography. Digitally on the suspect’s phone, those images included videos and still pictures,” said Alex Poe, an Investigator with Logan County.

Clayton is now being charged with first-degree rape and possession of child pornography.

“They’re disturbing videos to see. It’s hard to imagine that as a parent that I would, it’s not easy to look at children that way,” said Poe. “If his name rings a bell, please feel free to give us a call. Let us have that information. You know, don’t be afraid to speak up.”

Clayton also faces a rape charge in Comanche County but he was released on bond and must wear an ankle monitor.

His bond has been raised to $250,000 in Logan County with similar conditions and a preliminary hearing is set for September.
