Man killed in early morning shooting in Manassas

PRINCE WILLIAM COUNTY, Va. (DC News Now) — Police in Prince William County are investigating after a man was fatally shot early Thursday morning in Manassas.

Officers responded to the 12000 block of Cadet Court just before 2:45 a.m. Investigators say two men were sleeping inside a car in the area when one of them was shot. He died there.

The other man was not hurt.

17-year-old boy arrested for 2023 Woodbridge murder, police say

Preliminarily, police do not believe this was a random shooting.

Anyone with information about what led up to the shooting is asked to call the Prince William County police at (703) 792-6500.
