Man injured in Harrisburg shooting, police investigating

HARRISBURG, Pa. (WHTM)– Harrisburg police are investigating a Wednesday shooting where a man was injured.

Police say they were called to the area of North 16th and Briggs Street for a shots fired report at 4:45 p.m.

The man was found to be suffering from a single-gunshot wound after police arrived and he was rushed to the hospital for treatment, according to a news release. An investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
