Man hurt in GR afternoon shooting

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WOOD) — One man was hurt in a shooting in Grand Rapids Saturday afternoon, according to the Grand Rapids Police Department.

Officers were called to a report of a man being shot near the intersection of Zeno Street and South Division Avenue around 1 p.m.

The man was taken to the hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.

There is no word on what led up to the shooting or on any suspects.

GRPD said there is no danger to the public.

The investigation is on going.
