Man faces drug charges after deputies seize fentanyl, marijuana, Adderall

LIVINGSTON PARISH, La. (BRPROUD) — A man faces drug charges after an investigation by the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office.

According to LPSO, agents received a tip about illegal drugs on Oak Place Drive in Denham Springs. Logan Grice, 32, was arrested and booked into jail on Thursday, April 4. Deputies learned Grice was a fugitive.

“Agents proceeded to the residence in question,” said Sheriff Jason Ard. “During the course of the investigation, agents were able to secure and execute a search warrant at the residence.”

The sheriff’s office said the following items were seized.

  • Around 29 grams of fentanyl (116 lethal doses).

  • Around 526 dosage units of Alprazolam.

  • Around 4.6 pounds of marijuana.

  • Around 1.85 pounds of THC edibles.

  • Around 1.5 pounds of THC wax.

  • Around 280 grams of THC “moon rocks.”

  • Around 418 THC vape carts.

  • Around one pound of Psilocybin mushroom edibles.

  • Around 11 dosage units of Adderall.

  • Digital weighing scales.

  • Packaging material.

  • $4,8080 (pending seizure).

Grice was charged with five counts of possession with the intent to distribute Schedule I, possession with intent to distribute Schedule II (fentanyl), possession of Schedule II CDS (Adderall), possession with the intent to distribute Schedule IV (Alprazolam), possession of drug paraphernalia, fugitive probation and parole, and LPSO bench warrant for no seatbelt.

The investigation remains ongoing.
