Man dies in Tulare County crash, CHP says

TULARE COUNTY, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – A 46-year-old man died in a crash Tuesday morning in Tulare County, according to the California Highway Patrol.

CHP says around 6:48 a.m. officers responded to a crash in the intersection of Road 132 and Avenue 256.

Investigators say a blue Honda Civic was traveling southbound on Road 132, approaching a stop sign at Avenue 256. A silver Honda Accord was westbound on Avenue 256, approaching Road 132. Traffic on Avenue 256 was not controlled by a stop sign and had the right-of-way.

The Honda Civic proceeded into the intersection, attempting to make a left turn onto Avenue 256 when the two vehicles collided.

The driver of the Honda Civic died at the scene.
