Man dies after four-vehicle crash in York County; Coroner’s office

YORK COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)– A man is dead after a four-vehicle crash in York County on Tuesday morning, according to the coroner’s office.

A 90-year-old man died at the hospital after being transported from the scene of the crash that happened in the area of Loucks Road and Arsenal Road in Springettsbury Township at about 8:16 a.m., according to a news release.

The man was not identified by the coroner’s office, and the cause along with the manner of death are pending an autopsy, which is scheduled for Wednesday.

A tractor-trailer crashed into the back of the vehicle the victim was in, and pushed it into another vehicle that was then pushed into a fourth one, according to police. The driver and the man were both rushed to the hospital for treatment, but the man later died, the release states.
