Man dead, 2 others hurt after crash in St. Mary’s County

LEONARDTOWN, Md. (DC News Now) — St. Mary’s County Sheriff’s Office Deputies said a man was killed and two other people were injured, including a child after a crash on Sunday morning.

Deputies said that at about 10:20 a.m., they were dispatched to the crash, which involved a motorcycle and SUV at Three Notch Road and Tom Hodges Drive in Hollywood.

The motorcycle was driving north on Tree Notch Road when the car pulled into its path, attempting to cross the road from Tom Hodges Drive.

The man on the motorcycle died at the scene. He was identified as 21-year-old Tiernan Anthony Stephenson of Waldorf, Md.

The driver of the car and another passenger who is a minor were taken to the hospital. The driver was identified as 36-year-old Stephanie Rose Robey of Hollywood, Md.

The minor remains in critical condition.
