Fight begins over the use of washing machine

According to an arrest warrant, Deasia Perry allegedly got into an argument with a woman at the laundromat over the use of a washing machine. During the dispute, she reportedly called someone for backup, the record states.

A short time after the phone call, Deasia Perry's mother and sister allegedly arrived at the laundromat and the argument turned violent, the warrant states.

The record states that at some point, one of the Perry women dumped bleach on a man and woman and a physical fight involving all five people erupted.  Surveillance cameras inside the business captured video of the affray.

The warrant alleges that during the fight a second phone call was made, this time by Deedra Perry, telling someone to, "Come up here and shoot this (expletive)."

Shortly after that call, McKethan reportedly arrived in a "patterned bathrobe" and "immediately displayed a handgun," court records state.

The warrant alleges McKethan fired a shot at the male victim who then ran from the building. The record further alleges that McKethan got into his vehicle and chased after the victim firing shots on Murchison Road before driving away. The man was not hit.

The record states that when the victim returned to the Wash House the three women attacked him and one struck him with a metal pipe she'd taken from her vehicle.

The man sustained "severe lacerations to his face and top of his head, requiring medical attention," the warrant states.

The three Perry women were arrested on the day of the incident and have since been released from custody.

McKethan was arrested Tuesday and has since been released from the Cumberland County jail after posting $15,000 bail.
