Man charged with attempted murder after Chester County shooting

CHESTER COUNTY, SC (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — An arrest has been made after a shooting over the weekend, according to the Chester County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were called to a shooting at a home on Arrowwood Road in the Pea Ridge area just before 8:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 18. This is just south of Great Falls.

Officials say one person was found shot and was taken to a local hospital. Around 3 p.m. on Wednesday, May 22, Xavier Kneal Robinson, 21, was arrested in connection to the incident.

He has since been taken to the County Detention Center and is charged with 2 counts of Attempted Murder and Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of a Violent Crime.
