Man arrested after woman suffers facial injuries
A man has been arrested after a woman was assaulted before fleeing through a town centre wearing a dressing gown.
Gloucestershire Police said the victim ran from an address in Cashes Green, Stroud, at around 05:00 BST on Sunday.
The woman is currently receiving treatment for facial injuries at Gloucestershire Royal Hospital.
The force said a man had been arrested in connection with the incident.
Police are asking anyone with information or anyone who saw both the man and woman to get in touch with them.
Anyone with relevant dashcam or CCTV footage, which covers Cashes Green Road, Westwood Road and Cainscross Road, are also urged to come forward.
