Man arrested in connection to Livingston homicide, police say
LIVINGSTON, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – Livingston Police have identified a suspect who they believe is responsible for the death of a man in August of 2022.
On August 31, 2022, officials say Livingston Police were dispatched to the area of Walnut Avenue and Franci Street to a report of gunshots and a male subject lying on the ground.

When officers arrived, they reported finding Navneet Singh Aulakh at the 1500 block of Davis Street.
According to officials, Aulakh had received a gunshot wound to his chest. Officers and paramedics attempted to resuscitate him but were unsuccessful; Aulakh was pronounced dead at the scene.
Officials say Livingston Police Department has been investigating the shooting and were able to find evidence that led to the identification of a suspect. The suspect was identified as Ulises Alvarez Monge.
On Tuesday, Monge was taken into police custody at the Merced County Jail on a warrant issued by the Livingston Police Department.
