Man arrested in Cañon City road rage shooting

According to CCPD, on Saturday at around 8:15 p.m., police were called to a reported shooting in the area of East Main Street. When officers arrived, they found a person with a gunshot wound to the chest.

Officers started life-saving measures until medical first responders arrived and took the victim to the hospital. The victim was later flown to a hospital in Colorado Springs, and CCPD said the victim was still critical, but expected to survive.
