Man accused of rape, indecent behavior with juveniles arrested in Baton Rouge
BATON ROUGE, La. (BRPROUD) — The Baton Rouge Police Department has arrested a man accused of first-degree rape and indecent behavior with juveniles.
On Friday, May 10, the BRPD Special Victims Unit arrested Christopher Francis, 51, in connection with the sexual assault of a juvenile that happened in July 2023.
Police said the investigation began in August 2023 and detectives got an arrest warrant in April 2024.
According to the police, an anonymous tip through Crime Stoppers led to his arrest. Francis was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison and charged with first-degree rape and indecent behavior with juveniles.
