Man accused of $10,000 retail theft at Best Buy

STROUDSBURG, MONROE COUNTY (WBRE/WYOU) — Police are searching for a suspect who they say stole $10,000 worth of items from Best Buy in Monroe County.

On February 28, the Stroud Area Regional Police Department responded to a retail theft at Best Buy on Radio Drive in Stroud Township.

Man arrested for alleged supermarket retail theft

Police say the theft involved a man who took merchandise and fled the store the day prior. Further investigation stated the suspect removed 45 computer hard drives, valued at over $10,000 from the store.

Anyone with information is asked to submit a tip on the Stroud Area Regional Police website. Tipsters can remain anonymous or leave contact information for Detective Capone.
