Man, 77, allegedly killed by roommate in Roland Park
Police are investigating after a man was killed Sunday morning in Roland Park. Baltimore police said Patrick Cromwell, 59, stabbed and strangled his roommate, a 77-year-old man, to death before calling 911. Officers responded to the apartment complex in the 900 block of West University Parkway, where they found the man suffering from life-threatening lacerations. He was declared dead at the scene. According to charging documents, Cromwell told police he got into a fight with his roommate Sunday morning. He told police his roommate, who was unarmed at the time, attacked him first.
