Lynchburg police charge three after robbery on Moseley Drive

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WFXR) – The Lynchburg Police reports that three people were arrested in connection to a robbery on Moseley Drive on April 2.

LPD says that around 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, officers responded to the 1200 block of Moseley Drive. On the scene, they found a male victim who claimed that two people, identified as Amber Hamilton and Jesse Williams allegedly stole money and personal belongings.

The man continued to tell police that Williams allegedly hit him with a pair of brass knuckles and that Hamilton then allegedly shot him with a BB gun and then fled the scene.

Williams and Hamilton were located and taken into custody by LPD officers about 30 minutes later at a home in Madison Heights.

A search warrant was issued for the home, during which evidence of the robbery was allegedly found. Additionally, around two pounds of marijuana, cocaine, and a shotgun were also seized, police say.

28-year-old Barry Samuel Wills of Madison Heights was charged with Possession of Schedule I/II Drug, Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana, Possession with Intent to Distribute a Schedule I/II Drug, and Possession of a Weapon while in Possession with Intent to Distribute Marijuana. Wills was transported to the Blue Ridge Regional Jail Authority in Amherst and is currently being held without bond.

29-year-old Amber Dawn Hamilton of Madison Heights was charged with Assault and Battery, Robbery, and brandishing/Pointing a Firearm. Hamilton was transported to the Blue Ridge Regional Jail Authority in Lynchburg and was held on a $7,500 bond.

32-year-old Jesse David Williams of Amherst was charged with Assault and Battery, and Robbery. Williams was transported to the Blue Ridge Regional Jail Authority in Lynchburg and is currently being held without bond.
