Lucedale man missing for nearly 3 weeks: George County Sheriff’s Office

LUCEDALE, Miss. (WKRG) — It has been 19 days since Lucedale man Jason Craft has been seen, according to a Facebook post from the George County Sheriff’s Office.

Officials said Craft was last seen on March 30 at his home on the 100 block of Pleasant Hill Church Road.

“Investigators have conducted foot searches, utilized tracking K9s, conducted searches of abandoned structures, ATV searches, and are following up on every lead provided,” read the post. “We are communicating with Craft’s family at all times and providing them with updates as we receive them.”

Deputies are asking that members of the Basin community check their property and wooded areas for any sign of Craft.

Craft is described as being 6 feet 2 inches, 220 lbs, with red hair and blue eyes. He was last known to be wearing a blue shirt, blue jeans, and tennis shoes.

The post said Craft’s family told deputies he suffers from a mental illness and that it “may impair his judgment at times.” Deputies said Craft may have been depressed or suicidal at the time of his disappearance.
