Lowbrau bringing BBQ restaurant to Elk Grove

(FOX40.COM) — Owners of a midtown German restaurant and bar are opening a barbeque spot south of Sacramento.

LowBrau, located on K and 20th streets, is opening Slow & Low Smokehouse in Elk Grove on June 1, according to the barbeque restaurant’s Instagram.

The restaurant will be located on 9700 Railroad Street near the Dust Bowl Brewing tap house in Old Town Elk Grove.

“We have poured every ounce of ourselves into this one and we can’t wait to share it with you,” the restaurant’s Instagram post reads. “What to expect: delicious food with an emphasis on Texas style BBQ, a fun communal space, a giant FULL bar and lots of love.”

According to its Instagram, Slow & Low’s hours for its opening week are:
•Saturday, June 1 — 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
•Sunday, June 2 — 5 p.m. to 9 p.m.
•Wednesday, June 5 — 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
