Love Lies Bleeding has a connection to Baby Reindeer that fans may not have realised.
The new Kristen Stewart movie is released in UK cinemas today (May 3), and follows the star's gym manager character Lou as she falls in love with an ambitious bodybuilder (Katy O'Brian), which sets the two on a path of violence.
The movie has been co-written by Weronika Tofilska, who actually directed the first few episodes of Baby Reindeer – including the powerful fourth episode.

The Netflix series is one of the most-talked-about shows of the moment, and focuses on creator and star Richard Gadd's real-life stalking ordeal.
All the episodes were written by Gadd, with Josephine Bornebusch directing the final three instalments.
Following the success of Baby Reindeer, Gadd has lined up a new show, tentatively called Lions, for the BBC, which focuses on the four decades relationship between character Niall and his estranged 'brother' Ruben.

"Spanning almost forty years from the 1980s to the present day, this ambitious series will cover the highs and lows of the brothers' relationship, from them meeting as teenagers to their falling out as adults – with all the good, bad, terrible, funny, angry, and challenging moments along the way," the synopsis reveals.
Meanwhile, earlier this year Stewart opened up about Love Lies Bleeding's sex scenes, telling Variety: "They don't take their clothes off, but this is going to shock people.
"All you ever [usually] see is a dress coming up and a head going down under. I think even hetero sex on film is so rote. You go: 'OK, I know what that looks like in movies, that's what we'll do,' because no one actually wants to reveal themselves."
Love Lies Bleeding is out now in UK cinemas. It is available to rent or buy digitally in the US from Prime Video, iTunes and more. Baby Reindeer is streaming now on Netflix.
