Louisville airport was ill prepared to handle PGA traffic. I blame management.

As someone who has flown fairly regularly through SDF in the past few months, I have to say I was appalled at the service on Sunday night before the PGA. One would imagine that if you had a major event bringing more people than usual into the airport you would ensure that you had enough personnel to handle the load. Specifically having enough baggage handlers available to see that it does not take an hour or more to offload baggage from a flight. I would hope that management would do a better job of scheduling to ensure this does not happen again. This was not the fault of the employees or the airlines, this was a failure of management!

Airport restaurants close too early

I’m appalled that the airport doesn’t have any restaurants open past 5:00 or 6:00 p.m. There are flights that go out past that time frame and there isn’t anything to accommodate passengers. This is especially true when flights are delayed!
