Lockdown lifted at Calvary Christian School following anonymous threat

COLUMBUS, Ga. (WRBL) — A local private school is back to normal operation after locking down due to an anonymous threat late Friday afternoon, Calvary Christian School Headmaster Jim Koan confirmed to WRBL.

Koan says the threat was made toward an unnamed school, but out of an abundance of caution, law enforcement was called in to clear Calvary Christian School.

Students are being released as of about 3:45 p.m. and operations have returned to normal.
