Local Roanoke gym offering free youth mentorship & boxing program

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — One local youth gym owner is hoping to bring something positive to the Northwest Roanoke community.

Starting on April 27, 727 Kombat Fitness Hub is kicking off its youth mentorship and boxing program for boys 10 to 17 years old living in the Northwest area. For five consecutive Saturdays, young adults will be led by expert industry instructors and community mentors.

The free program will help build mental and physical strength while focusing on discipline, goal-setting, teamwork, and perseverance.
