LEMOYNE, Pa. (WHTM) — A locally owned hoagie shop announced that they will close their doors in Cumberland County to consolidate into one location.

The popular Hoageez recently announced on Facebook that they would be closing their location on 1200 Market Street in Lemoyne after five years of operation.

“After five great years at our Lemoyne location, we have decided not to renew our lease,” Hoageez said on Facebook. “This decision comes as we plan for the future with our aging parents in mind. This allows us the flexibility needed to assist them without being overstretched with two locations.”

The last day of operation for the Lemoyne-based Hoageez will be Saturday, May 11.

In addition to announcing this closure, Hoageez also shared that they would be closing their Hummelstown location on 422 Walton Avenue in the near future as part of an effort to consolidate their business into one storefront.

So where will you have to go to visit Hoageez?

abc27 news reported back in March 2024 when Bennett Williams Commercial Real Estate shared that Hoageez leased a 1,200 square foot space at the Hershey Square Shopping Center, located at 1130 Mae Street.

Hoageez says that their Hummelstown location will remain open until they move into their new space at the Hershey Square Shopping Center, which is slated to debut this Summer.

“Our new space will allow us to serve you better with more seating, new menu items, and combined staff,” Hoageez added.

Hoageez’s Lemoyne and Hummelstown locations share the same hours of operation, which are:

  • Tuesdays – Saturdays // 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
