CHILLICOTHE — Recently, two local students went to the Elks National Hoop Shoot regionals competition to represent Ohio.

Fourth-grade Paint Valley student Ainsley Weaver won in her division by making 23 out of 25 shots. Weaver previously said her favorite part about playing basketball was the shooting aspect. Throughout the contests, she has been working with her parents to increase her skills.

Unioto student Isaiah Reveal placed third in his division.

Weaver will be going on to compete in Nationals in Chicago this April representing the local Elks Lodge 52.
