Give Local 757, support local organizations all-day long

HAMPTON ROADS, Va. (WAVY) – Today, support local organizations with Give Local 757!™.

On Tuesday, April 23, everyone can be a philanthropist and give or fundraise for a cause.

So far, close to 2,600 donors have raised over $440,000 to support 182 organizations. And, this is rapidly climbing.

Give Local 757! is a initiative of the Peninsula Community Foundation. Organizations that are verified 501(c)(3) charitable nonprofits that are headquartered or provide service in Hampton Roads can participate.

Some organizations have special giving periods throughout the day where your donation will be matched, or you can be entered into special campaigns.

Search for an organization to support at the link here. You can search by name, location and cause. Here is the list of Give Local 757 fundraisers.
