Live music, giveaways planned for April opening at Puckett's Hendersonville restaurant

Looking for a new place to grab dinner out?

The newest location for longtime Nashville Southern comfort-food favorite Puckett’s Restaurant, which also has live music, is set to open in Hendersonville on April 3.

"We are so pleased to officially launch our Hendersonville location with this grand opening celebration,” said Andy Marshall, CEO of A. Marshall Hospitality.

"A town with beautiful scenery, deep roots in the music industry and rich community ties, Hendersonville couldn’t be a better city in which we expand our family of restaurants. We are excited to serve and celebrate with new and old friends."

In celebration of the Puckett’s Hendersonville grand opening, guests will be able to enjoy live music performances, photo opportunities, giveaways and dining starting at 7 a.m., according to a news release.

Over the years, Puckett’s has evolved from a little 1950s grocery store in the village of Leiper’s Fork to today’s community kitchen, known for its Southern hospitality, Memphis-style barbecue and live musical performances.

The Hendersonville location will be the first A. Marshall Hospitality concept in Sumner County and seventh Puckett’s Restaurant location in Tennessee — with others in Nashville, Chattanooga, Columbia, Franklin, Murfreesboro and Pigeon Forge. It's the eighth overall following the opening of its Cullman, Alabama, location.

One hundred or more employees are expected to be hired for the Hendersonville location, the release said.

Guests can choose from Southern comfort food favorites, meat-and-three specials, Puckett’s signature BBQ, homemade desserts and more at the 7,387-square-foot space, located at 1039 Glenbrook Way in Hendersonville.

Soup, salads, sandwiches and starters as well as To Go Packs are on the menu at Puckett's Restaurant.
