Live Muscatine introduces newcomers to city

Newcomers to Muscatine can get help finding their way around town at a new resident orientation.

The Live Muscatine orientation provides newcomers with the perfect way to connect with fellow residents and find the hidden gems that make Muscatine truly special.

The orientation will be on Wednesday, March 27 from 12-1 p.m. in the Howe Conference Room at The Muscatine Community YMCA, 1823 Logan Street. A light meal will be served to attendees.

“Transitioning to a new city involves more than just finding a place to live and going about your daily routines,” said Megan Francis, a member of the Live Muscatine committee. “It’s about embracing the community, understanding its history, and tapping into resources available. With Live Muscatine, we aim to provide newcomers with the tools and knowledge they need to truly make Muscatine their home.”

An interactive presentation allows new residents to connect with fellow newcomers, share experiences and learn from community leaders.
