The Lipstick Lounge expanding to include sports bar called ‘Chapstick’

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WRKN) — One of the country’s only lesbian-owned bars is growing.

The Lipstick Lounge in East Nashville will be adding 1500 square feet and a patio to its current location on Woodland Street to create space for a sports bar to be named “Chapstick.”

Co-owner Christa Suppan said the sports bar will be connected to The Lipstick Lounge.
Suppan said she has been waiting 20 years to be able to add a sports bar addition and patio.

The bar will still offer free parking and its upstairs cigar lounge “The Upper Lip” will remain open.

The Lipstick Lounge is the only lesbian-owned bar in Tennessee, according to Suppan.
