Lindale High School senior girls secure all top 10 spots

LINDALE, Texas (KETK) – Lindale Independent School District announced that the top 10 students of their 2024 graduating class consists of all girls.

UT Tyler mass communication students earn more than 30 awards at competition

According to the district, the students dedication to excellence earned them the highest honors of 334 students.

Lindale High School Principal, Jeremy Chilek, said in his five years as principal and 15 years in Lindale, he has never seen a top 10 of all girls.

“They have risen above through their dedication,” Chilek said.

Chilek told KETK that in the top 20, 19 girls also secured a spot.

Lindale High School’s graduation ceremony will be held May 24 at 8 p.m. at Eagle Stadium.
