Well, folks, Jenna Bush Hager certainly didn't expect to have this happen on live TV.

The longtime TV personality had a bit of a slip-up after discussing the new animated movie Trolls Band Together on the Today show. As she and co-host Hoda Kotb revealed how much their kids enjoyed watching it, Jenna shared that her son Hal wants him and his dad, Henry Hager, to be two of the characters in the film. But while trying to explain the story, she accidentally called her husband "Daddy" as if she was talking to one of her kids.

"Hal wants to be Baby (Tiny) Diamond and have Daddy be — first of all, I just called [Henry] 'Daddy' on television," she said while looking slightly mortified by what happened. "Oh gosh — I just called my husband 'Daddy.' I need to be put in some sort of... Is there, like, a corner where I can go sit for a few minutes?"

As the crew members of Today With Hoda and Jenna could be heard laughing, Hoda attempted to calm her friend with supportive words about the situation.

"Namaste," Hoda remarked to Jenna while trying to keep her own laughter at bay. "Isn't it weird? If all the things you said in your own house, you said out loud, people would think you are crazy."

Despite Jenna's feelings, fans weren't alarmed by her slip-up at all. In fact, they all ran to support her online.

"It’s OK … we call my husband Daddy in our house! Soooo normal!" one person defended Jenna on Instagram. "I call my husband Daddy in front of my kids and/or I’m telling a story about my family. You’re not alone, Jenna! ☺️," another agreed. "I call my husband Daddy in front of our kids. Nothing wrong with that!" a different follower added.

At the end of the day, we're sure Henry had a good laugh about it.
