Hillary Clinton Wears Short Zip Boots for ‘Jimmy Fallon’ Interview

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton zipped into a pair of black boots for an appearance on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” on Monday. While on the show, Clinton discussed her Easter activities and a new project.

Clinton has a habit of erring on the side of sensibility when it comes to footwear. She has often been spotted in lower styles including sneakers, other flats as well as kitten heels. Over the years, she’s worn brands as far ranging as Miu Miu, Ferragamo and Gianvito Rossi to Reebok and Nike.

In 2017, Katy Perry Collections released a suede pump with a clear block heel filled with golden stars and moons named “The Hillary.” It sold for $139. That shoe was initially available in pink and green.

While on “The Tonight Show,” Clinton discussed the Broadway musical Suffs, which she is a co-producer of. The piece of theater is about America’s 1913 Women’s Movement. It was created by Shaina Taub.

About the shoe

Clinton’s boot was a black ankle bootie style. It featured a full-side zip as well as a strap around the ankle. That strap, paired with the sturdy block heel of only a few inches, prized stability and support over design.

The style looks similar to boots she wore prior, in 2022, at the “Eyes on Iran” press preview for Woman Life Freedom at Franklin D. Roosevelt Four Freedoms State Park on Roosevelt Island. That day, the emphasis on support served her well, as she had a lot of walking to do for the event.
