LANCASTER COUNTY, Pa. (WHTM)– Following a multi-year hiatus, organizers have announced that a Lancaster County beer festival will be coming back this year.

The Lancaster Craft Beerfest will be on Saturday, Aug. 24, and organizers say it will be at Binn’s Park and the new Ewell Plaza downtown.

In 2020, the hiatus began, but now organizers are ready to bring back the beer festival.

“We’re excited to bring one of the area’s favorite beer festivals back,” Partner Chris Trendler said. “We are dedicated to once again bringing a variety of local and regional breweries to create an incredible experience for beer enthusiasts.”

Tickets for the event will go on sale in the middle of May on its website, Facebook and Instagram pages. More information about the vendors, breweries, sponsors and volunteer opportunities will be released in the future.

“We are looking forward to welcoming guests from all over to our vibrant City for this
event,” Partner Jonathan Yeager said. “Many beerfest fans have been asking when it’s returning, and we’re excited to finally be back!”
