Letter to the Editor: Foreign aid bill betrays American citizens

I never thought I would be writing an editorial like this. Our "representatives" are not only ignoring our border problems, sending our money to a questionable foreign country, flagrantly abandoning the concerns of the citizens they are supposed to represent, but have actually sunk to the new low of waving a foreign flag on the House floor in celebration of the fact they again betrayed the citizens of America and are defying us to do anything about it.

We cannot let this go unchallenged. Call your reps' offices, send emails, even visit their offices in person to let them know their betrayal is noted and will have consequences. Spread the word to all you know and encourage them to do the same, and keep spreading the word until you make them take notice.

Our government has clearly gotten way out of control through their adherence to their own political agenda at the expense of our laws and Constitution and needs to be reined in. As Ronald Reagan once said − if you can't make them see the light, then make them feel the heat! The time to act is now.
