This legendary band had 20 Top 40 hits but hasn’t toured in years. Boise gets a concert

A famous rock group that hasn’t toured in half a decade is headed to Boise.

Heart will headline a concert Saturday, Dec. 7, at ExtraMile Arena. Tickets become available at 10 a.m. Friday, April 5, for $48.50 to $183.91 (including all taxes and fees) through Ticketmaster. Presales begin at noon Tuesday, April 2. The opening act will be fellow Rock & Roll Hall of Fame band Cheap Trick.

Led by sisters Ann and Nancy Wilson — the only remaining members from the classic lineup — Heart formed in 1973 in Seattle. The group went on to sell more than 35 million albums, according to a media release, generating 20 Top 40 singles, primarily in the 1970s and 1980s.

Hits that concertgoers should expect to hear include “Barracuda,” “Magic Man,” “Straight On,” “Crazy on You,” “What About Love,” “These Dreams” and “Alone.”

Heart’s Royal Flush Tour, which kicks off April 20 in Greenville, South Carolina, is the band’s first since 2019. In 2022, guitarist-vocalist Nancy Wilson began performing Heart songs in an act called Nancy Wilson’s Heart.
