At least person dies in reported shooting in Dayton
May 1—At least one person died Wednesday afternoon as a result of a shooting reported in Dayton.
The shooting was reported at 4:19 p.m., according to the Montgomery County Regional Dispatch Center.
Several police vehicles were present and the street was taped off in the 40 block of West Norman Avenue, between Wheatley Avenue and North Main Street (state Route 48) in Dayton.
Investigators from the Montgomery County Coroner's Office also responded.
