(FOX40.COM) — New election results released by Sacramento County Tuesday changed little in the area’s biggest races.

In the mayoral race, Dr. Flojaune Cofer extended her lead slightly above the other top three candidates who all remain separated by 550 votes.

Roger Dickinson remained at around 45% of the vote in the race to replace former city councilmember Sean Loloee. If Dickinson were to win more than 50% of the vote he would be appointed to the city council for the remainder of Loloee’s term and avoid a run-off election in November.

City councilmember Katie Valenzuela chipped away at opponent Phil Pluckebaum’s lead in the race for her city council District 4 seat but was still a few percentage points behind.

Incumbent city council member Eric Guerra continued to hold his commanding lead in the District 6 race, continuing to beat the second-place finisher by more than 50 percentage points.

The result of the vote to increase the city’s business operations tax, known as Measure C, also remained relatively unchanged with votes to reject the proposal holding 61.5% of the vote.
