Last chance to get free COVID-19 testing kits delivered
NEW YORK (PIX11) — Friday marks the last day to order free COVID-19 testing kits from the federal government.
The website to order COVID tests states that “Orders for free at-home COVID-19 tests will be suspended on Friday, March 8, 2024.” All orders placed on or before March 8 will be delivered.
Households interested in ordering tests are allowed up to eight free tests. While the dates on the tests may show it’s expired, they should work through the end of the year, officials said.
The program may be brought back in the future if needed.
