Las Cruces wrecker rotation program to open applications

EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — The City of Las Cruces is encouraging wrecker or tow companies to apply for its wrecker rotation program, the Las Cruces Police Department said in a press release on Wednesday, May 1.

Las Cruces City Council approved its wrecker rotation program in 2019. The program allows for towing services to be on a rotational system for crashes, traffic obstructions, and other circumstances where a wrecker or tow truck is needed.

Wrecker or tow companies are encouraged to apply for the program during the period of July 1 through June 30, 2025.

Applications are also available at the Las Cruces Police Department located at 217 E. Picacho Ave.

The completed application must be submitted to the Las Cruces Police Department’s Traffic Section by Monday, June 17, 2024.
