Lane restrictions coming to North Scranton Expressway

EYEWITNESS NEWS (WBRE/WYOU) — PennDOT has announced there will be lane restrictions on the North Scranton Expressway in Lackawanna County.

According to PennDOT, intermittent lane restrictions and ramp closures on Route 11 (North Scranton Expressway) start May 6.

Thunderstorms, gusty winds expected tonight

Officials say work will be done during the day and night hours through the winter of 2024.

PennDOT states the work is weather dependent and drivers should drive the speed limit, turn on their headlights as well as pay attention to signs and flaggers.
