Lane closures planned on Bear Valley Road near Desert Valley Hospital in Victorville

Temporary lane closures are planned during road work and traffic signal improvements on Bear Valley Road near Desert Valley Hospital in Victorville, according to city officials.

Various single-lane closures along Bear Valley and Second Avenue are expected from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m. on May 14, 15, 16, 21, and 22.

There will be single-lane closures along both roads, with the majority of the work on the northwest corner of the Bear Valley Road intersection near the newly constructed McDonalds.

Motorists are advised to use alternate routes and to avoid the area if possible. Those who must travel in the area are asked to use extreme caution and to obey all posted traffic signs, devices, and personnel, city officials said.
