Police noted that the Little League season was about to begin and that the damages left the field unusable for children and other athletes. It was also noted that community volunteers came together donating time and equipment to repair the damaged outfield grass and infield dirt.

“This allowed the baseball season to continue for the area children,” said Pequea Township Police. “We are very thankful for their efforts and commitment to our community.”

Police say evidence from the park led to a suspect vehicle and the alleged confession from Spencer Barry, 18, of Conestoga. Police say Barry has been charged with criminal mischief.
