Lady Gaga’s Engagement Ring From Fiancé Christian Carino: All the Details
Lady Gaga confirmed her engagement to talent agent Christian Carino at an event on Monday, Oct. 15, finally putting to rest the are-they, aren’t-they speculation that has swirled around the couple since 2017.
“Thank you to all the loved ones in my life,” she said at Elle’s Women in Hollywood event, according to Us Weekly. She first thanked her manager, Bobby Campbell, before then turning her appreciation toward others, including Carino, whom she identified as her “fiancé” publicly for the first time.
“Everyone at table five,” she continued. “My fiancé, Christian. All the loved ones in my life who take care of me every day.”
Now that the A Star is Born actress has confirmed what fans have long suspected—and hoped for—attention is turning toward the eye-popping bauble that Gaga has been frequently photographed wearing on her ring finger.

Just last month, the singer-songwriter was spotted at the London premiere of A Star Is Born in an Alexander McQueen look that she accessorized with the over-the-top pink diamond she’s been wearing since late 2017. She attended the Grammys earlier this year as well with the bauble adorning her left ring finger.
Brilliant Earth’s VP of strategy and merchandising Kathryn Money tells The Knot and other outlets in a release from early 2018 that the ring can easily cost over $1 million if it’s a natural pink diamond. If it’s a pink sapphire, the ring’s value would still register upwards of six figures.
Given that the large center stone could be either of those two rare stones, Money continued, the cost of the ring itself could easily be somewhere in the multi-millions. By her estimate, the center stone could potentially weigh in between 11 and 13 carats. On top of that decadence, the center stone is framed by a halo of 12 colorless diamonds, with a mix of metals—a white gold setting and yellow gold band—that make it an even more unique design.
A different diamond source told E! that the ring is likely a Padparadscha sapphire piece that retails over $300,000.

The piece is similar to Princess Eugenie’s engagement ring from Jack Brooksbank, which is a three-carat Padparadscha sapphire that includes a vintage-inspired halo of pear and round diamonds.
Gaga, 32, and Carino, 49, first began dating in February 2017, some six months after she and her ex-fiancé Taylor Kinney called off their engagement. Kinney had proposed with an equally eye-popping heart-shaped diamond.
