La Crosse police seeing increase in vehicle break-ins and thefts
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – The La Crosse Police Department says it has recently seen an increase in vehicle break-ins and thefts. The department put this map (see insert) on its Facebook page today (4/25/24). It shows that since March 4th, there have been 11 vehicles reported as stolen in La Crosse and French Island.
La Crosse Police say when you leave your car, to remember to take your keys with you, close and lock your doors and windows, park in a well-lit area, and take all valuables in your vehicle with you.
