[1] Albuquerque Fire Rescue: 3 employees arrested for DWI – Three off-duty Albuquerque Fire Rescue employees were arrested for DWI in separate cases, the department said. AFR said Driver Angelo Abeyta, Driver Rane Hanni, and Firefighter Mateo Keyohara were placed on administrative leave “pending the outcome” of an investigation. AFR says they are conducting an internal investigation.

[2] APD: Teens bring three children into stolen bait car – Police said around 5 p.m. on Saturday, they were alerted to a Kia bait car in the 3800 block of Montgomery Blvd. A 14-year-old boy reportedly entered the vehicle and “manipulated the ignition” alongside a 12-year-old and a 10-year-old. The 14-year-old boy allegedly picked up his girlfriend, who was 15, and a 5-year-old boy. The bait car was disabled near Montgomery Blvd. and Morningside. Detectives watched the minors walk to a nearby apartment complex. The 14-year-old and 15-year-old were arrested on felony charges. The younger children were released to their parents.

[3] Rain, snow, and high winds continue for parts of New Mexico – A large storm arrived yesterday bringing widespread, light snow across northeast and east central parts of the state.Isolated spotty showers will develop across lower elevations of western and central New Mexico while mountain snow continues. Most activity will dissipate overnight tonight with a much drier start to the morning tomorrow. Much drier, westerly winds arrive Wednesday. This will usher in much quieter and sunnier conditions into Thursday and Friday.

[4] New Mexico students share mock court experience after Poland trip – High school students in New Mexico came together over the weekend to teach people about the court system. The event was at the Jewish Community Center after students recently participated in a simulation of three historical cases in Poland. During the event, they shared how they approached these court cases and their motivations for joining the Model International Criminal Court Program.

[5] Chocolate and Coffee Run kickstarts spring fun – The Chocolate and Coffee Run paired up with “Run Fit” to kick off its spring running series. They also used it as an opportunity to help encourage the community to get out and get fit. Runners of all ages met near Washington Middle School for a 5K and 10K. For those who made it out to the run, there was chocolate waiting for them at the finish line.
