Kingsport’s Riverview Splash Pad opens for 2024 season

KINGSPORT, Tenn. (WJHL) – The Riverview Splash Pad, a zero-depth aquatic play structure, opened for its 2024 season on Saturday.

The Riverview Splash Pad features surface water jets, a snake-head water spray, run-through loops with jets and rotating water cannons. It also has water buckets and a palm tree with water jets for the community to enjoy.

The splash pad does not have a lifeguard on duty. All children must be supervised.

The splash pad can be turned on daily from 10:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. To activate the water, guests must rub the silver activator pad on the wall between the restrooms.

The Riverview Splash Pad will be open until the end of September. It is located at 1101 Martin Luther Jr. Drive in Kingsport.
