Kingsport to host skateboarding classes every Monday in April

KINGSPORT, Tenn. (WJHL) – Kingsport will offer intermediate and advanced skateboarding classes for boys and girls ages 6 to 12 every Monday in April, the city announced in a release on Thursday.

The classes will encourage a safe and friendly environment while teaching skateboarding tips and tricks. Participants are asked to bring their own skateboards. Water will be provided.

Vendor applications open for Kingsport Farmers Market

The intermediate class will be from 6 to 7 p.m., and the advanced class will be from 7 to 8 p.m. According to the release, classes will be held on the following days:

  • April 1

  • April 8

  • April 15

  • April 22

  • April 29
