Kim Kardashian was pregnant with Saint at the 2015 Met Gala, and we’d NEVER have guessed

Celebs have been proving in recent months that you can do just about anything while pregnant. The latest? Kim Kardashian, who revealed on her app today that she was pregnant at the 2015 Met Gala with her second child, Saint West. Yes, that Met Gala, when she wore the the sparkling, skin-tight, Roberto Cavalli gown.

Kardashian’s can-do-anything-while-preggo announcement comes on the heels of Serena Williams’ announcement that was pregnant when she won the Australian Open. And don’t forget the life-changing moment a very pregnant Beyoncé shared during her performance at the Grammys this year while pregnant with twins, celebrating the feminine power to bear life and sing like an angel.

Females? Yeah. We’re strong as hell.

But back to Kim K. Here she is at the Met Gala in that dress.

Can you believe she’s carrying Saint under there!?

According to Vogue, the reality star shared on her app that she was two months pregnant on that red carpet. She wrote, “I was trying to hide it.” We can officially tell Kim: mission accomplished, girl! Though hiding a pregnancy in a tight, skin-bearing dress is probably easier said than done.

She also took the opportunity to post behind-the-scenes photos from that day on her app, and she looks as beautiful as ever.

Hmm, she does seem to have a special glow about her, doesn’t she? (Maybe they just applied bronzer.)

Here Kardashian gets primped and prodded by her infamous glam squad. According to Vogue, Kardashian also revealed on her app that the dress was inspired by Cher’s feathery look at the first Met Gala.

Kardashian obviously feels a connection to Cher as they both share Armenian heritage and a daring fashion sensibility. In a recent Instagram, Kardashian referred to Cher as her “fashion icon.”

Whether it’s at a high-stakes tennis tournament or a celebration of fashion’s greatest innovations, celebs are proving that pregnancy doesn’t hold them back from doing anything, and well… we’re not surprised, frankly.
